She brings valuable experience across medical, surgical, and family medicine fields. After obtaining her AMC Certificate in 2023, Dr Chaminda worked at Caboolture Hospital, where she completed rotations in Medicine, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine before transitioning to General Practice. She is passionate about continuing her career as a GP in Australia. In addition to English, Dr Chaminda speaks Sinhalese.
