Dr Chaminda was born in Sri Lanka and graduated from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2019. She brings valuable experience across medical, surgical, and family medicine fields. After obtaining her AMC Certificate in 2023, Dr Chaminda worked at Caboolture Hospital, where she completed rotations in Medicine, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine before transitioning to General Practice. She is passionate about continuing her career as a GP in Australia. In addition to English, Dr Chaminda speaks Sinhalese. Outside of work, she enjoys music, dancing, and spending time with her family.
