Dr Paras brings a broad and diverse background to his medical practice, with experience spanning the arts, trades, science, and commerce before completing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of British Columbia in Canada.
After relocating to Australia in 2019, he graduated from the University of Queensland and completed postgraduate training with Queensland Health, including extensive experience at Townsville University Hospital and Ingham Hospital.
In 2025, Dr Paras moved to the Darling Downs and has come to value the region’s strong sense of community while caring for the people who make it such a rewarding place to work.
